Lyndon remembered all those killed or injured during past & present conflicts, in the world. Young people from the Girls' Brigade & Boys' Brigade followed the colours into Church with a wreath of poppies, which was placed in front of the Altar. A trumpet call started & finished the 2 minutes silence observed by all present at 11am. During the Service the congregation were invited to place their poppies into a cross at the front of the church, in memory of their loved ones.
