The ingredients were
Salt – salt & light is mentioned in the Bible. Salt is a preservative so we should like salt, tell everyone about God to “preserve” what God has told us.
Eggs – eggs are to bind the cake. This represents prayer.
Fat – is for building the Cake. We can build on our Mission to the Community.
Baking Powder – makes the Cake rise. The congregation can make the Mission rise by building on existing relationships in the community.
Icing – the Icing on the cake is the extra things we have planned for ourselves & the Community.
Microwave –to cook the Cake, has power. We need God’s power & Holy Spirit.
