They have arrived! - Story so far

They were welcomed to Lyndon and their first “event” was a visit to Lunch Club!
On Friday evening they joined some of the Youth of the church for “TGI’s” at Lyndon. This included a video about the Alpha courses, “is there more to life than this?”

Saturday morning saw them involved with some of the younger children at “Showstoppers Holiday Club”.

At the Sunday morning Parade Service they joined with Rev Julia & Chris Taylor, Patrick played guitar with the worship group. Joel preached a sermon based on the mustard seed, Faith is not big or small but grows if nurtured.

The Team are being accommodated at various locations and meals are being provided at several venues.
On Sunday evening a group of about 35 people, including the Team, enjoyed a meal at a local Chinese Restaurant. This was followed by various discussions prompted by Joel & Patrick, about Life experiences. A very enjoyable evening, which we hope to do again.
